Chrysalis Seed's mission:

To help resource visual artists from a Christian perspective

Chrysalis Seed Trust has taken on a challenging role in terms of its function in a secular society.  All the evidence at my disposal suggests that they are succeeding – the range of their contacts, and the sheer quality and readability of their CS Arts publication are rich testament to this

About the Chrysalis Seed Trust

Chrysalis Seed works within a Christian framework but is open to all people interested in the contemporary visual arts. For artists seeking encouragement in their chosen practice or their spiritual journey, Chrysalis Seed offers varying levels of support and involvement - from receiving the CS Arts  magazine to connecting with other artists at events and meetings.

Our current focus:

The CS Arts magazinecontinued circulation and use of CS Arts magazine especially in NZ tertiary art schools and contemporary art galleries

Support systems for artists: working towards multiplying networks of artists and prayer groups

Information  for artists: improve online resources to assist artists in their professional development

Our future focus:

A network of artists meeting up and down the country with new vigour, vision and life

Regular group exhibitions being established out of these networks, showcasing contemporary art and reflecting such vision, values and community
